HRMA Dinner Meeting
Healthcare Cost Containment Strategies for Small to midsized Employers
Presented by Bill Lacy from ACHRM
January 12, 2015
Princeton Hyatt Regency
5:30pm to 8:00pm
For registration please go to http://hrma-nj.shrm.org/
In this time of continually rising healthcare costs, CEO’s, CFO’s and HR Directors at both small and mid sized enlightened employers are successfully achieving healthcare cost containment.
Learn how and why this has been done throughout different organizations such as private corporations, public entities, labor unions, etc. through strategies that have been identified or developed within the Association for Corporate Health Risk Management’s fast growing community of employer members.
This interactive program includes a panel of CEO’s/corporate leaders who will share their experience with different strategies they are implementing or have implemented. For example an emerging strategy in the NY-NJ-PA marketplace is to develop a direct relationship between self-insured organizations and healthcare providers.
Other strategies that will be discussed include transitioning from fully-insured to self-funded, and medical tourism. Opportunities, challenges and risks will be reviewed and analyzed.
Building upon the experiences of ACHRM’s members, this presentation will highlight the opportunities, challenges and risks of the different strategies, and their outcome for healthcare cost containment.
This presentation brings forward innovative strategic methods as well as hands-on practical experience, and speaks directly to HR and C-suite executives who are looking for new and proven ways to contain their organization’s healthcare costs long term.
