    Human Resources Generalist – Lawrenceville, NJ

    Stark & Stark has an opening in our Lawrenceville office for an HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have HR experience and be looking to take the next step in their professional development. We seek a self-directed and detailed-oriented individual with the ability to collaborate on, or lead, HR assignments in a fast-paced, professional environment.     Applicants should have a working knowledge of several aspects of Human Resources. The right candidate will collaborate with HR professionals who lead the functions below by taking on the following responsibilities:

    ·         Recruitment/Staffing: developing new sources, advertising, and assisting with onboarding

    ·         Benefits/Wellness: assisting with open enrollment, vendor contact, and program planning

    ·         Training/Development: assisting HR Director in developing and executing programs, coordinating with practice groups on training for research tools, and handling billings

    ·         Facilities: overseeing facilities and building management for multiple locations by working with MCS (vendor contracted to handle issues of accessibility, safety, security, and space planning)


    ·         Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience in an HR related function; a Master’s degree in Human Resources or professional HR certification is preferred.

    ·         2 – 4 years of progressive HR experience, experience with the HR areas listed above is a plus

    ·         Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.

    ·         Ability to maintain high level of discretion, judgment, confidentiality, professional and ethical standards in communications with both external and internal parties

    ·         Able to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

    ·         Organized and able to see an assignment through to successful conclusion

    ·         Self-directed; able to think analytically and solve problems with little direction

    ·         Able to collaborate with a team to bring projects to successful conclusion

    ·         Able to demonstrate a customer service demeanor regardless of the person or issue at hand

    ·         Detail-oriented and accurate

    ·         Moderately proficient at typing/keyboarding
