    SHRM Princeton is the local chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), connecting HR professionals across the greater Princeton area. When you join SHRM and designate SHRM Princeton as your chapter, you get the best of both worlds: national resources and a strong local community.

    Our chapter hosts monthly dinner meetings (September – June) that combine networking with programs on legal and legislative updates, diversity, and other timely HR topics.

    Membership in SHRM Princeton is currently free.

    Note: Chapter membership expires at the same time as your current SHRM membership, regardless of enrollment date. Any applicable SHRM Chapter dues are prorated based on the number of months remaining on your current SHRM membership.

    Who Can Join?

    SHRM Princeton is a 100% SHRM chapter, which means:

    • You must be a current member of SHRM to join SHRM Princeton

    • All memberships are individual and not transferable

    Our members typically include:

    • HR professionals who spend at least 50% of their time in HR, people operations, talent, or related functions

    • HR and industrial relations faculty at accredited colleges and universities

    • HR‑related consultants and service providers who support HR professionals

    We are committed to an inclusive, non‑discriminatory membership and welcome HR professionals from all backgrounds and industries.

    How to Join

    1. Join SHRM (if you are not already a member).
      Visit and complete your national membership.

    2. Designate SHRM Princeton as your local chapter.
      In your SHRM profile, select New Jersey and HRMA Princeton as your primary chapter.

    3. Confirm with SHRM Princeton.
      Once you’ve added SHRM Princeton in your SHRM profile, your information will be shared with us and your chapter membership will be activated.

    By joining SHRM Princeton, you agree to uphold professional and ethical standards that protect our members and sustain a trusted community.

    Members are expected to:

    • Maintain high standards of professional and personal conduct

    • Support the chapter’s mission and the HR profession

    • Respect the confidentiality and privacy of fellow members

    • Refrain from using membership or the member directory for sales or unsolicited marketing

    • Use networking opportunities in a professional, respectful way
