College Relations
"HRMA supports two student chapters through scholarships, networking opportunities, advisory assistance in HR issues, discounted meeting fees and chapter financial assistance. The Rider University chapter was established in the early 1980's, and The College of New Jersey chapter was established in 1995.
Reasons to join include:
- An Opportunity for the Executive Board Members and Members to lead on campus.
- A way to engage students/student groups through teamwork, it builds campus relationships, and fosters creativity, and makes a difference in the community.
- ODK and HRMA on-campus presence can be recognized
- Result will be a food donation to Rider Pantry
- It is fun!

HRMA SHRM Student Chapter Spotlight
The TCNJ SHRM Chapter was recently recognized by the Society for Human Resource Management with the highest distinction a college chapter can be awarded — the Superior Merit Award for the 2022-2023 academic year. Click Here to view the certificate.
The SHRM Student Chapter Merit Award program encourages the development of more effective student chapters and distinguishes outstanding activities and projects. Chapters are recognized based on operations, chapter programming and professional development of members, support of the human resource profession, and SHRM engagement.
Congratulations to TCNJ for this well-deserved (and hard to achieve) honor!
