Certification
HRCI and SHRM Certification
The value of obtaining and maintaining your credential in a rapidly changing business world.
Because the HR profession is constantly changing and evolving, it is important for our members to continually update their HR competencies and knowledge. HRMA of Princeton seeks to support our chapter members in their professional development by encouraging them to become certified human resource professionals, and keep their certifications current by offering recertification credits for our dinner meetings and other chapter events.
As of January 1, 2015 the HRMA of Princeton will be providing recertification credits both for professionals certified through HRCI as well as for those certified through SHRM.
For those seeking certification through SHRM, please refer to the certification preparation courses offered to HRMA members at Mercer County Community College, at a discounted member rate.
For more information on the new SHRM certifications, and for guidance on which credential is right for you, see: www.shrmcertification.org
For more information on the HRCI certifications, see: http://www.hrci.org/
Certification contributes to advancing our members career, advancing the organizations and advancing the HR profession and the community.
