Please see the Legislative Affairs section for an update on a Jersey City ordinance enacted on October 21, 2013, that would require those that operate businesses in the City to offer time out of the office to their employees. The ordinance is available by clicking here and is expected to take effect on January 24, 2014, or when current collective bargaining agreements expire for those employees covered by them.
