Welcome to SHRM Princeton

Who We Are

SHRM Princeton is an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Whether you are new to the HR field or have many years of experience, we are your starting point for networking, information, professional development and continued support of excellence in Human Resources.

If you are not already an SHRM Princeton member, we encourage you to JOIN our Chapter for free and take advantage of all the benefits that membership offers.  Whether you are joining for the first time or renewing, you will be able to sign up for your SHRM national and SHRM Princeton memberships at the same time! Even though membership in our Chapter is free, you still have to choose us and put our Chapter in your cart to check out when conducting the membership transaction via the SHRM website. Please choose "HRMA Princeton" when making your Chapter selection.

We welcome your use of this site as a resource and suggest you to check back frequently for updated information. We also encourage your involvement and suggestions about all of our activities, on the web and off.

Thank you for the support you have provided throughout year 2025 for the SHRM Foundation. Your efforts support the SHRM Foundation mission-driven programs for workplace inclusion challenges, programming and scholarships designed to inspire and empower the next generation of HR leaders, and transformational change in support of workplace mental health and wellness.

Everyone has a role to play in creating a world that works for all. Certification Preparation Course
Applies to the following certifications: SHRM CP (Certified Professional) and SHRM SCP (Senior Certified Professional)

The Center for Continuing Studies at Mercer County Community College and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) offer a comprehensive review of the major disciplines within the field of human resources in this certification prep course. Utilizing the SHRM Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge, the course is designed to give human resource professionals new tools for successful performance on the job while helping to prepare them for the national examinations. Human Resource professionals seeking advancement in their career should strongly consider taking this course to prepare for higher level certification. Prior to taking this course, it is important to review the SHRM CP and SHRM SCP eligibility requirements on the SHRM website:
