NeuroConversant Leadership:
How to talk to anyone
Presented by Jeremy Doran
Tuesday, March 10 • 12:30 — 1:30 p.m. ET
Register Online
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
Most of us have been talking since we were two, so communicating as adults should be easy…shouldn’t it? Have you ever understood the words someone is saying, but have no idea what they meant? Or tried to explain something ‘simple’ and received blank stares in return? Communication between similar people is relatively easy. What happens when an introverted scientist and a gregarious sales person need to work on an important project together? Relating to people who think and communicate differently than we do is a challenge, but it can be done!
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Understand the root causes of miscommunication
- Learn four dimensions of people's communication styles
- Identify three ways to relate with a diverse range of people
ABOUT OUR PRESENTER:
With degrees in both Mechanical Engineering and Psychology, Jeremy Doran brings a unique perspective to leadership for people in technical fields.
Having overcome the same communication challenges that many engineers face, Jeremy is able to engage, enlighten and entertain his audience. He will deliver strategies for communicating with different audiences in different ways.
His work experience includes Process Re-engineering at Pratt & Whitney, Global strategy for APC (now Schneider Electric), owning a franchise business and coaching hundreds of engineers on their journey to becoming great leaders.
