    DESCRIPTION:

We come from differing backgrounds and experiences. Traits such as race, gender, age, disability status, sexuality, and more affect our perspective and the way we interact and collaborate. Yet, our DNA is 99.9% alike. Companies employing a diverse workforce are more innovative and profitable than those who do not. In this highly interactive session participants learn to transform their organizations into a high-performing and inclusive workplace. Learn effective strategies for promoting diversity and inclusion to create a culture where everyone feels safe, respected, and valued to bring their innovative ideas forward. Elaine inspires critical thinking and creates an open dialogue to unlock unconscious bias. Learn to recognize and address discrimination, assumptions, and stereotypes. Participants develop the skills to promote empathy and effective communication for greater acceptance, understanding, and collaboration. Many stated that the culture within their company changed after experiencing this program.

    PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:

    1. Establish knowledge that diversity, equity, and inclusion should be core to all organizations as it positively increases innovation and profits. Learn successful strategies and skills to create a more inclusive workplace.

    2. Understand the etiology and effects of unconscious bias. How does one recognize it as they make collaborative decisions in the workplace and how does it affect innovation? Participants learn to dispel their biases and to create trust to work with those who are not like them.

    3. Learn successful strategies and skills to create a more inclusive workplace to increase collaboration and cultural transformation.
