    DESCRIPTION:

    Identity Theft is currently the fastest growing white collar crime in the country and the risk has never been greater. From employees to customers, there is a major need to educate on all levels and protect sensitive data. In this presentation, participants will learn about the major types of identity theft, as well as how to be more prepared to protect non-public information (NPI). At the conclusion of this course, participants will:

    1.  Have a better understanding of what identity theft is, and how it affects HR professionals.

    2.  Have a better understanding of what to expect if their organization is a victim.

    3.  Understand how to educate employees on protecting company data and safeguarding non-public information (NPI).

     

    OUR SPEAKER:

    Kris Evans is a professional speaker, entertainer, and nationally recognized expert on identity theft.  Kris is a Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Consultant who has worked in this industry for over fifteen years, completing numerous trainings, seminars, and certifications.  His blend of humor with his knowledge on the subject matter has made Kris one of the most sought-after speakers on this topic. He has received countless speaking and training awards, been featured in multiple news publications, consulted with numerous associations and government organizations, as well as spoken with thousands of individuals nationwide about the devastating effects of identity theft and how to protect their private information.

    Kris is currently serving as a partner and board member with the Harvard Risk Management Corporation; a consulting company specializing in identity theft education, and resides in Lebanon, TN with his wife Kaci, and their four children.
