PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
In 2016, the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) will likely answer 1,000 questions from human resources professionals and business owners. This interactive presentation discusses some of the funniest, toughest and most delicate questions we’ve gotten over the years to provide practical pointers and real-life scenarios to seasoned HR professionals. We’ll present the problem and tell you how we helped the employer to resolve it.
OUR SPEAKER:
Stefanie Riehl is Vice President for the New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA). In that capacity, she leads the Association’s Member Action Center - a one stop shop providing extensive government contacts, legal and business assistance, and data analytics to 20,000 companies.
As an expert on employment and labor issues, Stefanie has been interviewed by the Associated Press, Bloomberg, NJ101.5, the Star Ledger, the Bergen Record, and the Philadelphia Inquirer. She has also been a featured guest on My9New Jersey, News12 NJ, and NJTV, and has done numerous public speaking engagements. Additionally, she has facilitated dozens of human resource seminars.
CAREERS-IN-TRANSITION:
Our revitalized Careers-In-Transition group, led by Terry Ebert of The Ayers Group, meets at the Hyatt at 4:30 PM. If you are an HR professional in transition, please consider attending. The group offers networking opportunities and a way to gain valuable insights and support that will help you in your job search. There is no cost to attend the C-I-T group and no advance registration is required.
