    About our speaker:

    DonnaLyn Giegerich MBA, CIC, RYT is the President of DonnaLyn Giegerich Consulting, an empowerment speaking and training company providing customized coaching, keynotes, events and consulting for her corporate, professional and transitioning clients requesting leadership, mentoring & "skill up" solutions. She has presented in corporations, at health & wellness conferences and in the consumer space on leadership topics, resiliency and holistic wellness. She is a global spokesperson, virtual columnist for a national health advocacy, mid life model and co-founder of Kick Cancer Overboard, a nonprofit sending folks adversely affected by cancer on a free funfest to Bermuda every year. She is an award winning businessleader, co-owner of Heritage Benefits Group LLC, and producer partner at Couch Braunsdorf Insurance with 25 yrs of professional planning expertise. She is a former Adjunct Professor of Economics & Finance. Her inspirational story is featured in book The Art of Bouncing Back by Zelda Greenberg. She has served on many business boards including Monmouth University's Business School Council, the Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce and YMCA. Her national and local TV, print and web media credits are varied and vast and are a testiment to her commitment to her advocacy and business success.

    She is a rare 4 in 1 million Leiomyosarcoma malignant cancer survivor that ran, biked and swam thru a year of surgical rehab, chemotherapy and radiation to learn her husband was diagnosed with a rare incurable cancer at nearly the same time. Undeterred by their circumstances, they have turned their challenge into a freeway of opportunity to serve others. DonnaLyn is a midlife Mrs New Jersey pageant winner as Mrs Red Bank for rare cancer awareness, a registered yoga teacher and daring adventurer elevating what's possible for others thru challenge. She is a graduate of Red Bank Catholic, Albright College, has an MBA from Monmouth University and a myriad of professional insurance, title and real estate licenses and advanced industry designations. In her spare time, she studies somatic therapies, travels widely, teaches yoga in the caribbean and rescues puppies, dogs and a fish named Fred.
