    How Financially Literate Employees Can

    Improve Employer Profits

Presented by Frank Alcorn, Dimensional Wealth Education Institute

    Program Overview

This program is designed to help the HR Professional fully understand that there is a direct correlation between the employer profitability and the financial literacy level of its workforce.  It will explore how current economic and demographic trends negatively affect bottom-line profitability, but even more importantly how the HR Professional can address the issue, and what he/she ultimately can do about it.

It will provide the HR Professional with the knowledge of how to contribute to the organization’s fiscal success, by illustrating to management the costs associated with financial illiteracy and countering this current  trend in this economic environment.  It will enable the HR Professional to understand what is required to track, measure and make the case to management about the R.O.I. for these types of programs.

Ultimately, the course will demonstrate to the HR Professional that by providing a quality financial literacy education program, the HR Department contributes directly to increased profitability, morale, employee retention, and workplace job satisfaction.

    About the Speaker

Frank Alcorn is President of Dimensional Wealth Education Institute (DWEI), a non-profit wealth education firm established to provide finance-related educational topics and seminars for students, associations, adult-learners, professional organizations as well as public and private employers.  DWEI also works with select Universities with their respective HR courses, currently working with UCLA Extension and their local employer community. The mission of DWEI is to promote financial literacy education and its benefits to both public and private institutions.  The United States Government established a Financial Literacy Commission because they understand that the more literate our citizens become, the better the economy and financial ecosystem functions. DWEI hopes to be a big part of the financial literacy solution.

Frank began his career in Financial Services in the mid 1980’s, and has taught financial classes and concepts for Fortune 100 companies as well as for individuals, and currently teaches a one-day strategic course in Financial Literacy for HR Professionals through UCLA Extension Program.  He is also a Principal of Consumer Wealth Advisory Group, who provides Investment Advisory and Financial Planning services for corporate and individual clients. It is the mission of the firm to be a complete resource for clients and provide the best financial guidance, while promoting education, integrity, trust and competence.

He is married with two daughters so he spends a lot of time in malls and at Dillon’s Candy Bar.  When he has time he enjoys golf, traveling and languages.
