    DESCRIPTION:

    Engaged employees are more focused, creative and dedicated to providing exceptional results.  This training will explore the elements of employee engagement as well as provide participants with new and relevant ideas for how they can make a positive impact on the engagement level of their employees.  This presentation focuses on the value of engagement for a business, a leader’s career and the individual as a whole.  Join us for this session focusing on:

    PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:

    1. Define employee engagement and discretionary effort and their impact on business results

    2. Identify and explore methods to create employee engagement action plans

    3. Develop effective surveys to accurately assess engagement levels and articulate the results and their impact to business leaders

     

    OUR SPEAKER

    Susan Russo is a Human Resource professional with over 15 years of experience implementing leadership development and employee engagement programs. Susan’s experience includes working with both internal and external clients to ensure that their business and workforce strategies are effectively aligned to best meet customer needs. Susan collaborates well with all employee groups including individual contributors and Senior VP leaders to develop the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for organizational success.


    Susan has held various HR leadership roles. She led the human resources function at a small community business where she designed and administered leadership and employee engagement programs, employee benefits and workplace policies.
    She has also held Human Resource Business Partner leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies where she was a key contributor to global workforce planning and development, helping to identify and develop core competencies for current and future workforce needs.


    Currently, Susan is an independent consultant who creates and delivers engaging and impactful leadership training and development programs to small and large audiences. Her work has been published by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and she was a speaker for the Garden State Council SHRM annual conference in 2021. She is also an Adjunct Professor of Strategic Human Resource Management at the Fairleigh Dickinson University Silberman College of Business MBA program.


    Susan earned a Master of Human Resource Management degree from the Rutgers University School of Management and Labor Relations. She is a certified Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) and certified Global Professional of Human Resources (GPHR) through the Human Resources Certification Institute.

    She is a certified Lominger 360 review feedback coach through Korn Ferry. Susan is also certified as a SHRM-SCP through the Society for Human Resource Management and serves as an instructor for the SHRM certification test preparation course.
