SHRM Foundation

The SHRM Foundation to provide opportunities available to our fellow HR professionals that they may not have had otherwise, including:

♦ Assisting individuals in their pursuit of greater academic credentials
The SHRM Foundation awards more than $200,000 in educational and certification scholarships each year to help create the next generation of HR leaders.

♦ Supporting researchers who bring us greater understanding of the complexities of HR
In 2013, the SHRM Foundation introduced its new Thought Leadership Initiative to inform "what's next". To achieve this vision, The SHRM Foundation is working with the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) to conduct a multi-phase program to identify and analyze critical trends likely to impact the workplace in the next 5-10 years. Additionally, the SHRM Foundation has awarded more than $3.8 million in research grants funding original, rigorous, empirical research studies that have direct, actionable implications for HR practice.

♦ Creating materials that explain how HR practitioners can capitalize on the new knowledge that research provides
From identifying emerging trends to helping HR practitioners become strategic business leaders, the SHRM Foundation’s educational products are at the forefront of the HR profession. These include the Effective Practice Guidelines series, the Executive Briefings & educational DVD series, all of which are available for complimentary download from shrmfoundation.org to SHRM members and the public.

These resources are making a difference every day by shaping the future of HR!
